Education: higher pedagogical education (art teacher).
Ms. Tarasova worked at the Nefteyugansk District Clinical Hospital named after V.I. Yatskiv in the department of HIV-infected patients as a specialist in social work. She participated in projects of the All-Russian Organization “People Living With HIV.” Ms. Tarasova participated in implementing the EVA Association project “SHE” in the city of Nefteyugansk. For the last three years she has worked for the project “Peers advocating for peers.”
In 2017 she participated in monitoring the criminalization of HIV with Eurasian Women’s Network on AIDS and currently works on this theme.
Ms. Tarasova has two children.

I believe that through the power of community we can change the situation in Russia and it will be possible to openly speak about your diagnosis. The diagnosis doesn’t define you.”
