Viky’s case

Case Court proceedings against Vika K., pupils of an orphanage under Article 122 of the Criminal Code on HIV infection

Article 122 of the Criminal Code defines liability for crimes related to HIV infection. Moreover, the penalties for this article are provided not only for the actual infection with the virus, but also for putting another person in danger – if the person, knowing about his diagnosis, did not warn his partner about the disease, but the infection was not transmitted. This is what the girl Vika is accused of, who last year asked for help in “EVA”. We tell what happened before, during and after the trial.
