About us

EVA Association is the first non-governmental network organization in Russian that was established to protect women who are affected by the HIV epidemic and other socially significant diseases. EVA Association ’s mission is to improve the quality of life of women who live with socially significant diseases.


The organization was founded in 2010 by experienced activists, the majority of whom have been working in the field of improving the access for women living with HIV to medical and social services for over 10 years. Currently EVA Association unites activists from 39 Russian cities and towns.

We organize the exchange of experience, help and support our participants from all cities and regions, hold meetings and seminars.

In 2009-10, despite the large number of NGOs that helped people with HIV, thanks to the communication of activists, the idea of creating a network non-profit organization that could unite women leaders from all corners of Russia.

For 11 years we have been helping HIV-positive women all over Russia to unite and set aside their rights and their dignity as equals among equals.
