Psychological Forms of Abuse and Opportunities for Resistance

On March 20 an online workshop was held over Zoom as part of the “Sister to Sister” project

The workshop leader Nina Verbitskaya, a psychologist and activist, discussed the definition of psychological abuse, what forms it takes, what to pay attention to when choosing a partner, how to resist psychological abuse and what “healthy relationships” look like. Over 50 people participated in the event.

Participants were able to take a self-test to analyze whether they or their partners have demonstrated psychological abuse in relationships. The girls asked the speaker many questions and shared their personal experiences.

You can also learn about forms of psychological abuse and opportunities for resistance from Nina Verbitskaya’s presentation.
